Data, as vehicles for information, has become extremely valuable. This new dimension of information has made it the object of desire for many companies and corporations, both public and private. Faced with this new reality, legal systems have reacted by regulating not only its traffic, but above all the protection of those who own this data: individuals, first and foremost, but also legal entities. Each has its own protections, limitations and exceptions in a new international environment in which this information is coveted and vulnerable.
