RIGHTS RELATED TO COPYRIGHT
ARTISTS, PRODUCERS AND PERFORMERS ENABLE AUTHORS' WORKS TO REACH THE GENERAL PUBLIC

They are not creators per se. But they are essential for the cultural market to function. Artists, performers, phonographic and audiovisual recording producers, broadcasting entities, etc., are therefore rewarded with a special right, whose name (related, neighbouring or neighbouring rights) indicates its proximity to that of authors, but with which it should not be confused.
They are neither more nor less, they are different and, above all, necessary for authors' creations to reach their intended audience. They are transmitters of cultural works who have the right to protect their performances, activities and efforts.
